We are excited to serve our communities by bringing on two highly skilled and experienced Pediatricians. In addition to Dr. Katherine Bentley (pictured on the right, and who joined us 6 months ago, from CHPA in Ashland), Dr. Anita Bojtos (fluent in speaking Hungarian) and Dr. Heriberto "Eddie" Menendez (fluent in speaking Spanish) have recently become a wonderful part of our team. All 3 are very loving and caring Board Certified Pediatric Physicians who love Jesus Christ.
They are all 3 enthusiastic in their love of children and desire to serve families in our communities. They share our faith values, but also our passion for excellence in medical care. Our Physicians are specifically trained and educated to give medical care to the young.
Pediatricians are "Specialists for Children," and as such, they will ensure the very best care for young people. Obviously, children have different needs and concerns than adults. As we target areas of need for our young patients, we would like to specifically highlight one area right now, and that deals with the Flu and H1N1.
H1N1 is a primary concern for the very young and the very old in the US this year. We have taken every step we can to ensure good care for your children with this medical need. We are one of the few sites in the Ashland/Richland area that can now administer the H1N1 vaccine. Just call our office for more information (please understand that we will only give the vaccines to our current established patients, or newly established patients). We also have the mist available.
We are inviting new patients to enroll with us. If you are looking for comprehensive and loving Pediatric Care for newborns, infants, children, and/or young adults (0-21) then please give us a call. We have early morning clinics Mon-Fri for walk-in patient visits (no appointments necessary for established patients) in both Ashland and Mansfield, and we are also open in Ashland on Saturdays from 8:00 am to 12 noon. We have all vaccines for children in both Ashland and Mansfield, that are available to us.
Our philosophy is to care for the individual and the family. We also believe in Comprehensive Care, seeking to bless people in heart, soul, and mind. Pediatric Consultants has made some specific changes recently to take a very proactive approach to effectively meet medical, spiritual, and behavioral mental health needs.
We have 6 Physicians, and 2 Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner offering medical care in our Pediatric Consultant’s offices in Ashland (1522 Claremont Ave.) and Mansfield (480 Glessner Ave. by the hospital). We are also still seeking to add more new Physicians and Providers to our staff to meet the needs of our growing patient base, which has grown in numbers for 9 straight years, and by 16% in the last year! Our patient base has grown in both Ashland and Mansfield.
Our Providers (Dr.'s and C.P.N.P.) are greatly balanced with young energy and experienced wisdom, which greatly helps them to identify with and to communicate well with our patients and their families. Clearly understood communication between our Pediatricians and our Patients is a very high value for us. We know how important that is to a parent. We also try to be very child friendly in every detail (such as our office arrangements).
In addition to our medical services, we also have a strong partnership with CityHill Behavioral Mental Health in Ashland and Dr. Brad Olson, and Community Counseling Services, Inc. in Bucyrus (just outside of Mansfield).
Our faith in Jesus Christ is important to us. Prayer with our Physicians or Providers, free Bibles, and Christian music are available to patients and family members in our practices.
